About 200 scientists from different parts of the country and various embassies participated in a two-day national symposium on "Sustainable Aquaculture" which concluded here over the week-end. The symposium was organised jointly by the Department of Botany, Delhi University, and the Society of Ocean Scientists and Technologists, New Delhi, to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee Year of the University of Delhi, the Golden Jubilee Year of the Department of Botany and the International Year of the Ocean. The two-day symposium was inaugurated by Dr. R.S. Paroda, Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi at the Department of Botany.
