The Indian Medical Association (IMA) , a national body of doctors, has joined the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE0 in sounding a note of warning on diesel use. At a news conference IMA honorary general secretary Prem Aggarwal voiced concern at the "dieselisation of the environment" which, he said, would lead to higher incidence of cancer and lung and respiratory diseases.
