In order to explore new avenues for the minor forest produce for sustainable forest development, rural income generaiton, and biodiversity conservation, the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the assistance of the Central Government, has prepared an action plan for Non-Wood Forest Products (NWFP).
