A farmer was killed over a dispute which emerged over irrigation water share near Naban Khan Lakho village in the Lakha Road area late Monday night. Rafique Lakho was irrigating his lands while his relative Mumtaz Ali Lakho was waiting for his turn, who reminded Rafique that time for his share of water had ended, therefore, he was going to open water for irrigating his lands. Rafique resisted the move and opened fire on Mumtaz who received serious injuries. He was brought to Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze where he succumbed to injuries. Lakha road police lodged an FIR against Rafique on the complaint of Mohammad Aachar Lakho, brother of the deceased.
