DH News Service, Chintamani: The deputy commissioner has issued stringent orders to provide permits to the farmers for the distribution of DAP and complex fertilisers in the district. A meeting had been called in this regard, which was attended by the agriculture officers and the executive officers of the taluk panchayats. The deputy commissioner instructed the officials concerned to initiate measures for the efficient distributution of fertilisers in the district. Since the NPK Complex fertiliser had not been supplied to the district as per the demand, due to shortage of this fertiliser, the farmers were unable to purchase it. Substitute The farmers were of purchasing the DAP fertiliser, instead of the NPK Complex, in view of its shortage.
