Replying to a question asked by PPP MPA Humera Alwani, Minister for Environment and Alternative Energy Askari Taqvi said that the Federal Ministry for Environment is drafting a law, which would allow the production of plastic bags using biodegradable material only. This draft would be shared with the provinces and then finally legislated so that a uniform law is applicable in the entire country, for effective implementation. He pointed out that the Sindh government has already enacted a law titled
