Concern was expressed in the Rajasthan Assembly over the dwindling number of wild Siberian cranes visiting the Keoladeo Ghana National park near Bharatpur. This was seen as a setback to the attempts to reintroduce artificially bred Siberian Cranes among the wild flock visiting the park, the house was told. Of late, thier numbers had come down drastically and the last season saw only three-four birds.
