BANGALORE, DHNS: The High Court has directed the State to file compliance report on fixing boundaries, fencing of City lakes before Mar 12. The Court was hearing a petition by Environment Support Group, a city-based organisation, which had challenged the privatisation of lakes. The Division Bench comprising Chief Justice P D Dinakaran and Justice K L Manjunath has directed the private parties to file an affidavit on curbing commercial activities around the lakes. It has also directed the Lake Development Authority (LDA) to file a report on rejuvenation and revival of lakes.
