The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has directed Khukhrian Food Products Private Limited, Baddi in Solan district, Himachal Pradesh to pay Rs 25,000 to Mr Maheshwar Bali for selling contaminated drinking water, "Amrit". The order was passed by Mr V.K. Sharma, President of the forum, on a complaint filed by Mr Bali wherein he alleged that he purchased six bottles of mineral water of "Amrit' brand from railway canteen at Shimla for consumption by his friends.
