A massive fire engulfed around 300 hectares of forest area in the Paniya range of Gir forest (Gujarat). The fire was brought under control after battling for nearly 12 hours, fire officers at Junagadh said. Bamboo and fodder worth crores of rupees were destroyed in the fire.
