The International environmental group Greenpeace hailed the Philippine governments' approval of the Clean Air Act, which includes a total ban on incinerators, as an international environmental milestone. This decision sends out a very strong signal against the dumping of toxic technologies on developing countries like the Philippines, said Greenpeace toxic campaigner Von Hernandez.
