Even as a special train is on its way bringing lakhs of astham patients to the Battina Goud brothers for their special fish cure, the treatment is facing a problem of its own: there may not be enough fish going around. There are doubts whether this annual event would go off smoothly with the Twin Cities (Hyderabad and Secunderanbad) Fish Merchants' Association calling for a bandh from June 5 to 10. Moreover local fishermen have gone on a strike and stopped fishing in protest against the "indifference" of the State Government towards their demands regarding fishing rights in tanks and lakes.
