Fisheries experts from all over the country at a seminar in Mumbai, while acknowledging the potential of aquaculture as a cheapest source of animal protein sounded a note of caution about the danger of environmental degradation and the far reaching adverse effects resulting from improperly planned and executed aquaculture operations.
