More than 5,000 fishermen's families living along the 27 km long coast from Kattumavadi to Enathi signed what they described as a 'Magna Carta' urging the State and Central Governments to strictly enforce the Coastal Regulation Zone Act (CRZA) protecting the vulnerable coastal resources and preserving the marine ecosystem.
