The Madhya Pradesh state government has claimed that due to Forest Conservation Act 190, there was a decline in diamond production. In response to the zero hour notice given by Rasaal Singh, the government said that it cannot be held responsible for the decline and pointed out that due to the act, the labourers were also suffering.
