Large-scale illegal felling of trees along Indo-Bhutan border Kachugaon, Haultogaon and Aie Valley forest divisions has been going on unabated during the last decade. Due to this unabated felling of trees a large-scale deforestation and encroachment have taken place along the Indo-Bhutan border which was once famous for its beautiful and valuable sub-tropical rain forests.
