The forest department has a plan for plantation of 3,35,41,230 saplings during the countrywide afforestation programme in 2002-2003 fiscal year. This was disclosed by the Minister for Environment and Forest Shajahan Siraj while replying to a question from Delwar Hossain Sayed of Jamaat in the Jatiya Sangsad.
