Patiala, October 03 Government officials have reportedly usurped and later tried to auction Forest Department land measuring 52 kanal in Jhill village. Since 20002, senior officials of the district administration, Patiala Municipal Corporation (MC) and District Revenue Office (DRO) have been under the scanner following inclusion and subsequent attempt to auction reserved forest land worth crores on the Sirhind Road. The MC got the mutation deed transferred in its name in connivance with officials the District Revenue Office and the DC office.
