Following complaints of mass deforestation at Chiralla, Jammu, a team of visiting Forest officials conducted a survey of the area and found deforestation 'under check'. Sources further divulged said that some officials of the Forest Department visited Chiralla area last week to take stock of problem arising out of deforestation in Chiralla area.
