Rupendehi District Court (Nepal) has given a verdict of imprisonment to two persons on the charge of encroachment of forest. A group of people led by Krishana Nepali of Anandaban and Nanda Ram Thapa of Shankarnagar VDCS had attempted to encroach 50 bighas forest belonging to Shankarnagar community forest area in Rupandehi district two months ago.
