Three hundred firefighters moved in to battle a blaze and evacuate campers yesterday in Brazil's oldest national park, officials said. The fire started on Wednesday when two campers lit a bonfire at 7,800 feet (2,400 metres) above sea level, one of the highest points in the Itatiaia park located 107 miles (172 km) south of Rio de Janeiro, an official with the Rio de Janeiro fire brigade said.
