Recent threats of action by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh notwithstanding, forest land encroachers are on the prowl in Himachal Pradesh. The growing pile of cases with the Forest Department bears testimony to the fact that avaricious encroachers continue to eye and grab rich forest land whenever possible.
