With a donation of only ten baht, even the poorest of the poor can now show their love for Their Majesties of Thailand and, at the same time, help increase green areas under a forestation programme to mark the Queen's 66th birthday next month, and the King's 72nd birthday next year. At least 7,200 people from all walks of life in each of 72 provinces, except Bangkok and its neighbouring provinces, are due to plant up to 72,000 trees on 720 rai of preserved forest land and green areas on August 9.
