Forests Minister Vinay Tendulkar launched joint forest management (JFM) in cashew plantation areas under Goa Forest Development Corporation Ltd (GDFC) at a function held at Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem. The JFM programme aimed at jointly managing with local communities the state owned forests through production, conservation, regeneration and sharing the benefits thereof.
