Forest minister Shiv Netam was grilled by the opposition members over the state government's inaction over sal borer pest infection which has spread over the years and assumed menacing proportions threatening the Sal trees in the state. He however denied allegations of irregularities in controlling the pest stating that the Government was acting as per the directives of the Supreme Court which has directed for categorisation of affected trees and to fell only those falling under category 1 and 2.
