Tribal leader and president of Gothramahasabha C K Janu today alleged that the Kerala Forest Department officials are thwarting the Government move to allocate land for tribals as per an agreement reached between the Government and tribals, a few months back. Addressing mediapersons in Thrissur, she said according to the pact, about 2.5 lakh acres of land should be allocated to tribals in the State, ensuring 5 acres of land to each tribal family.
