Several public welfare projects of the Madhya Pradesh State government are in turmoil due to the corruption mounting over the forest protection committees. The State Government had formulated the forest protection committees with public participation for the protection and preservation of the green gold scattered in our forest ranges. The forest protection committees have turned to be the hub of corruption for the forest department officials. According to sources, the forest officials are minting money worth lakhs of rupees by taking out illegal paper works.
