HC orders SIT probe against officials: The High Court bench in Nagpur has ordered the setting up of a special investigation team (SIT) to go into the tree-felling scandal in the forest areas of Chandrapur and Gadchiroli districts, bordering Andhra Pradesh, and the starting of criminal proceedings against guilty officials, irrespective of their ranks.
