Hundreds of members of community forest users' groups from across Nepal marched through the streets of Kathmandu protesting the government's decision to forward a Bill proposing to amend the Forest Act 1997. The rally, which was organised to protest against the Bill which the government intends to bring during the ongoing session of the parliament, started from Baneshwore and ended in a mass meet at Basantapur.
