Funds doubled for water courses

The Command Area Development Authority (CADA) of Haryana has more than doubled its annual plan allocation from Rs. 30 crores to Rs. 66.09 crores in view of the enhanced target for completion of water courses to fulfil the aspirations of the farming community. An official spokesman said here today that the target of completion of water courses had been enhanced by the Chief Minister, Om Prakash Chautala, especially where seepage losses were in excess.
