Big promises made hitherto by the authorities to end Noida's problem of saline drinking water have failed to cut with the residents who remain skeptical about the outcome of the recent deliberations and efforts over the issue. The UP Government approved Ganga water supply project. On completion, the project would the problem of drinking water in at least half a dozen residential sectors, besides the VIP sectors of 14A, 44, 19 and 27. The residents of sectors 24, 25, 26, 47, 93 and 97 will benefit from the project which will ensure their taps are supplied with Ganga water.
