The meager water levels in the reservoirs on Krishna and Godavari rivers notwithstanding, APGenco has decided to intensify its efforts to construct hydel power stations in the coming years. As part of the efforts, global tenders have been called for construction of 6x39 MW Priyadarshini Jurala Hydro Electric Project on the Krishna river at Jurala in Mahbubnagar district of Andhra Pradesh.
