Scientists have for the first time, found a direct relationship between global warming and the evolution of contemporary wildlife, report UNI. The scientists saw a decline in the population of both species during the Medival Warm Period (850 - 1350 A.D.) when their habitats dried up and an increase during the Little Ice Age (1350-1950) whent he climate was wetter. These findings established a direct correlation between climate change and population size, the press release said.
