The number of migrants around the world has jumped to 130 millions and could grow relentlessly under the pressure of increasing globalisation, the International Labour Organisation said. Peter Stalker, author of an ILO study on the impact of globalisation on international migration told reporters the number of people who live in foreign lands had risen from 75 millions in 1965 to 120 millions in 1990 and was now likely to have reached 130 millions.
