Children, campaigners and celebrities are travelling across the globe, and plan to cover a total distance which almost encircles the globe twice, in an attempt to raise awareness about the child labour problem worldwide. "We need to break the myth that child labour cannot be broken," said local organisers of the international march which passes through Goa later this week. On the threshold of the 21st century, they said some 250 million in the world are suffering the yoke of child labour, a modern form of slavery which deprives youngsters of their freedom.
