Andhra Pradesh has so far utilised only 625 tmc ft of Godavari water out of its hare of 1,480 tmcft, according to an official document. This is out of the 3,000 tmcft estimated as being available in the river in a water year at 75 cent dependability.This implies that 854 tmcft - a massive quantum indeed - remains untapped.
