The 53.54 acres of reclaimed Goshree Island Development Authority (GIDA) land would be exempted from Kerala Land Reforms Act and the notification in this regard would be issued by the government soon. GIDA chairman and District Collector Mohammed Hanish told at the pre-bid meeting that the GIDA land would not be included in the Coastal Regulation Zone Act and Kochi Master Plan as well.
