Madhya Pradesh Government has ordered confiscation of teakwood, illegally cut by Ramkrishan Patel from neighbour's land and government area. The cost of its transportation and for keeping it too would be recovered from him. An order was passed by Bhopal and Hoshangabad Divisional Commissioner VK Batham recently. Hoshangabad Additional Collector had permitted Harda resident Ramkrishan Patel to cut 833 teak trees in village Khedi Khushyal on March 30, 1996.
