Government to make forest land encroachment free

The forest land of the Madhya Pradesh state would be freed from encroachments soon. This would add to the beauty of the state forests. The state government has forwarded a proposal in this regard to the government of India. The state government has demanded Rs 1000 crore from the government of India for re-settlement of thousands of post 1980 encroachers, who had encroached the forest land measuring around 1 lakh hectares.
