Bangalore city Development Minister T John on Tuesday said the Karnataka State Government was committed to protecting the Kumudvathy river and the catchment area of the T G Hally reservoir. John said the government was keenly monitoring the developments relating to the construction activities and all legals steps have been taken to protect the river.
