No ban on registration of new diesel cars yet : Even as environmentalists and car manufacturers lock horns over a proposal to ban the registration of new diesel cars in the city to check pollution, the Delhi government says it is not considering any such move at present. Unofficial figures say diesel cars constitute eight per cent of about one lakh cars in the city. There are around 31 lakh vehicles in all in the Capital.
