Forest Minister K Sudhakaran today said that the Kerala Government was determined to thwart the moves by organisations like Infam and the Adivasi Gothrasabha to encroach upon forest land at any cost. The Forest department would implement contract system for carrying out various developmental activties since the present system of allowing convertors to undertake works was breeding large scale corruption in the department.
