The Delhi government has, in principle given a go-ahead to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation's proposal for the second phase of the Metro project. Following a presentation by the DMRC, the Delhi Cabinet asked the DMRC to submit a detailed report on the proposed second phase for final approval.
