The Delhi Government has identified corridors for operating Monorail and Light Rail Transport systems while submitting the revised Parking Policy before the Supreme Court. While three corridors have been identified for running monorail, six have been earmarked for the LRTs as part of a plan to ease traffic flow. Acting on the apex court's directions, the government, in November last, filed an affidavit announcing its plan to create seven corridors for running High Capacity Bus Systems (HCBS) in the Capital before the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
