The Government is considering to lift the ban on export of primary bamboo for a temporary period, Union environment and forests minister Suresh P Prabhu said here on Monday.The environment ministry has recommended for the removal of primary bamboo from the negative list for a temporary period so that bamboo, which is being allowed to rot in certain areas of the coutnry, can be put to better use, Prabhu said while addressing an all-India seminar on 'Bamboo Development' here.
