Govt prioritising rural development, says CM

Chief Minister Digambar Kamat has said that his government is committed for the welfare of needy and poor people and is giving a priority to the development of rural areas. He was speaking at the Youth Convention organised by the Sattari Yuva Morcha at Nanus-Valpoi on Sunday. Speaker Pratapsingh Rane, South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha, MLAs Babush Monserrate, Gurudas Gawas and Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco and Chairperson of Bal Bhavan Vijayadevi Rane were present. Speaking further, Kamat said the development of health, education and agriculture sectors in rural areas will accelerate the growth of our villages. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane thanked chief minister for supporting the developmental works in Sattari. South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha, Speaker Pratapsingh Rane, Naresh Sawal also spoke on the occasion. Sarpanch of Bhironda Udaysingh Rane welcomed the guests, Umesh Gulelkar proposed vote of thanks.
