Govt taking measures to protect environment

Pakistan government is committed to protect environment and has planned to train 3,000 technicians throughout the country to control emission of Chloro Fluoro Carbons, which is depleting the Ozone layer and causing spread of skin cancer cases.This was stated by the Federal Minister for Environment Maj (R) Tahir Iqbal inaugurating four-day National Trainers Training Course organised by Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority with the collaboration of UNIDO and Ministry of Environment. John Ellis (Training Consultant from UK) will conduct the training and train 26 technicians.
