The Delhi governemnt has cleared the deal for buying 10 new CNG run buses at the cost of Rs 1.3 crore. According to highly-placed sources in the government, these buses will be run on an experimental basis to see if CNG is a viable alternative fuel for public transport in the Capital. The buses, to be provided by Tata and Ashok Leyland, will cost Rs 13 lakh each.
