The Environment and forests ministry may skip Euro III emissions norms and go straight from Euro II norms , to be enforced next year, to Euro IV norms which will be implemented in 2005. According to the ministry, there is not much difference between the Euro II and Euro III norms and it wants to catch up with the global emission norms as fast as possible.
