In a bid to stop environment pollution by black smoke emission, the Bangladesh Government decided to import lead-free petroleum from the first of July. To discourage the import of two-stroke engines as part of the drives against air pollution, the government also decided to impose high duties on such imports as well as set up Catalytic Converter in buses, trucks and other motor vehicles.
